The 8th International Agricultural Exhibition (Agriteq) and the 2nd International Environmental Exhibition will be held at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center from the 23rd to the 27th of this month. The exhibitions are organized by the Ministry of Environment under the patronage of Prime Minister Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani.
Yusuf Khalid al-Khulaifi, director of the Department of Agriculture, told a news conference that the exhibitions were being held in compliance with all Covid standards. About 200 companies from the fields of agriculture, environment, food and livestock production will participate in the exhibitions. More than 35 countries display products through their embassies and trade offices in Doha.
In addition to a special market for dates, vegetables, fruits and honey from over 100 local farms, there will also be a nursery market with ornamental plants and plants for the first time. The various categories will include the latest agricultural products, food packaging-processing machinery, veterinary health services, livestock and poultry production equipment.
