Preparations for Doha Horticulture Expo 2023 in progress. The target is 30 lakh visitors. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Subaie, Minister of the Environment of the Municipality, has revealed that the city of Doha is preparing for the Expo 2023, which runs from October 2, 2023 to March 28, 2024, under the theme ‘Green Desert, Better Environment’.
The Minister was on a visit to Agriteq and Envirotech, two international agricultural and environmental exhibitions at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center. The 179-day expo is being held at Al Bidda Park in Doha’s Corniche. The Expo is expected to attract more than 30 lakh visitors from 80 countries.
The Expo will also provide a platform to address basic issues related to healthy living, eco-friendly green economy, sustainable lifestyle, education and innovation. The fair, which is attended by international, local and regional companies, will feature international gardens and their exhibitions as well as family entertainment, cultural and traditional events.
The theme of the exhibition is Modern Agriculture, Technology and Innovation, Environmental Awareness and Sustainability. To inform the people about the new solutions for environmental protection and to go to agriculture. The main goal is to unite the people of the world to fight desertification while providing inspiration and encouragement.
