FC Bayern Munich wins the FIFA Club World Cup Qatar

Germany’s FC Bayern Munich win the 17th FIFA Club World Cup after a thrilling battle. This is the second time Bayern Munich have won the Club World Cup. They won it first time in a competition held in Morocco in 2013. Bayern Munich make history again last night when they beat Mexican club Tigers UANL 1-0 at the Education City Stadium.

Benjamin Poward scored the winning goal for Munich in the 59th minute of the second half. Bayern Munich ‘s Thomas Muller, meanwhile, could not make the final due to Covid’s positive. Egypt’s Al Ahly finished third, beating Brazil’s Palmeiras 3-0 in the semi-finals.

Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski has won the Golden Ball Player of the Year award at the Club World Cup. In the semi-finals, Robert scored 2 goals against Egypt ‘s Al Ahly. Bayern Munich reached the final by defeating Al Ahly by 2 goals to none.


The Silver Ball was won by Andre Pierre Gignac of Tigers UNL. Andre Pierre’s performance against Ulsan Hyundai in the second round helped the club reach the semi-finals. Joshua Kimmick of Bayern Munich won the bronze medal. Joshua has excelled in both of his club matches. The FIFA Fair Play Award goes to Al Duhail of Qatar. Al Duhail finished fifth, beating Ulsan Hyundai by three goals to one.
