The Halal Qatar Festival 2021, one of the most popular heritage fairs in Doha, Katara Heritage Center, kicks off on February 13.
This is the tenth consecutive year that the fair has been held. The fair will be held near the Mahaseel Souq in the southern part of Katara. The main events of the fair, which runs from the 13th to the 21st, are the sale, auction and exhibition of Syrian and Arab sheep and goats of different breeds. One of the attractions of the fair is the beauty pageant of the top breed of sheep and goats. Handicrafts and traditional food and beverage outlets will be active at the fair.
Admission to the Halal Qatar Festival 2021 will be from 9.00 am to 12.00 noon and from 3.00 pm to 10.00 pm. The Festival 2021 follows the Covid protocol.
Mahaseel Souq, a local product marketing fair, is open only on weekends but is no less crowded.
Souq is only available on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays until March 31. Admission is Thursday and Saturday from 9.00 am to 9.00 pm and on Fridays from 1.00 pm to 9.00 pm.
