Qatari telecom service provider Ooredoo has resolved a week-long network disruption and offered postpaid customers a 50% discount on its November bill. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Abdulla Al Thani, CEO of Ooredoo Qatar, said in a video message that the mobile service was interrupted while upgrading the main server.

Ooredoo Shahri, Qatarna and Data Plan postpaid users will get a 50% discount on the November bill. Hala users will also be given 500 Flexi points valid till the end of November.

Ooredoo said yesterday that the network has been completely restored. Ooredoo’s mobile data and voice calls were faced interruptions since November 7.
