Qatar Airways first World Cup flight

Qatar Airways’ first World Cup aircraft Boeing 777-300ER will land in FIFA’s headquarters in Zurich this afternoon. Qatar Airways yesterday unveiled the first World Cup aircraft featuring World Cup colours and logo as part of a two-year countdown to November 21, 2022. It is completely hand-painted.

More Qatar Airways flights with 2022 World Cup branding will be launched soon. The Doha-Zurich service of the first World Cup flight will strengthen Qatar Airways’ cooperation with FIFA. Qatar Airways will soon be releasing the best travel packages for World Cup spectators.

Hamad International Airport is also actively developing and expanding to welcome spectators to the FIFA World Cup. The expansion will have a capacity of 5.8 crore passengers by 2022.
