Doha is ready to host AFC Asian Cup-2027, Qatar launches competitive promotion campaign and releases new emblem of the Qatar Football Association was unveiled during the inauguration of the 2022 World Cup Stadium in Al Rayyan.The theme of the emblem is ‘We celebrate with Asia’.

The emblem is designed with many features in mind. The design includes the name of the Qatar national flag, Al Adam, the colours of the flag, and the number 27 representing 2027. Another feature of the emblem is the embroidery embroidered with Sadu, a traditional Qatari Arabian style. It reflects the hospitality tradition of Qatar. In the centre of the design is the football pitch.

In addition to Qatar, India, Iran, Saudi Arabia and Uzbekistan are also bidding to host the 2027 Asian Cup. The hosts for 2027 will be announced next year. Qatar hosted the Asian Cup in 1988 and 2011.
